What Should I Wear to the Spa?

At Elavina Salon and Spa, we pride ourselves on being welcoming, and your comfort is our priority. We generally recommend that you wear comfortable clothes.

How Do I Know What Services Will Be Best for Me?

If you aren’t sure what type of service will be best for you, a consultation with one of our experts is a great place to start. This is a perfect opportunity to become acquainted with our spa and service providers, as well as address any questions you may have. We have a team of highly trained professionals who can advise you on the treatment best suited to your needs.

What Happens if I am Late for My Appointment?

Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment or service, which can lessen its effectiveness and your satisfaction. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest can start their treatment on time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to best serve the needs of all our clients.

What Should I Avoid Before & After Hair Removal?

For 24 hours post-hair removal, we recommend avoiding contact with pools, saltwater, and jacuzzis. We also recommend avoiding sweating or participating in physical exercise 24 hours prior to hair removal services.

What Will My Skin Look Like Right After a Facial?

You should leave your facial appointment with glowing skin that feels great! However, most facials come with extractions, so some redness may occur. We do everything we can to lessen the redness as much as possible during the treatment.

I Am Taking Medication For My Skin. Can I Still Get a Treatment?

We will not perform facials or hair removal services on guests who are using medications that increase skin exfoliation or compromise the skin. Peels, microdermabrasion, or hair removal cannot be performed on people who have recently had plastic surgery, laser treatments, or a sunburn. If you are pregnant, we use pregnancy-safe/gentle skincare products.

At What Age Should People Start Receiving Regular Facials?

Unless you are experiencing breakouts at an earlier age, we suggest our guests start receiving facials regularly in their 20s and 30s.

How Soon Will I Start Seeing Results From My Facial?

Most people see results immediately, and your skin should feel different right away. If your skin has more advanced, long-term needs such as hyper-pigmentation caused by hormonal fluctuation or sun damage, your results may not be noticeable immediately. However, your skin health will continue to improve as you follow the advice of your therapist and continue your at-home regimen.

What Do I Need to Know Before Getting My Lashes Done?

You will need to thoroughly remove your eye makeup prior to the service.

What Kind of Lash Extensions Do You Carry?

We carry Xtreme Lashes® and Borboleta eyelash extensions at our salon and spa. Your lash stylist will conduct a thorough consultation to assess your needs, allowing you the opportunity to help design your customized lash look to compliment your individual beauty.

How Long Should My Hair Be for Body Waxing?

For optimal results and a more comfortable experience, hair should be between 1/4″ and 1/2″ in length. If hair is longer, please trim to 1/4″ prior to your appointment.
